Pull out your radio, and on the back it has a code. Note that number down, goto a BMW dealer and they will look up the code for you. It should cost you nothing.
To take the radio out, it's fairly simple. Use a small flathead screwdriver. Pop open the tabs on the side of the radio, and you will see 2 screws. Unscrew them, and the radio should pop out, then simply slide the radio out.
