Wolfgang hit the nail on the head. In my case the oil pump actually DID fail, but I suspect that was due to grevious neglect from the PO. I changed the sensor to no avail. My light was coming on at low RPM's and whenever I took a nice sweeper turn. If yours is only at startup, and then goes away for the rest of your drive, I'd suspect the sensor.
