Champ,...im the owner of a '83 BMW 323i and am curious about this boost in power for my E30 aswell.I know and have seen the radical yet successful m5o swap into your monster and know of the huge expense involved in such a project.However,what can i do in my case? i want a noticable difference in performance.

Should i get an ALPINA kit installed?
should i get my engine rebuilt and borred to 2.7 and throw in a turbo?
Or should i scrap all ideas and go for an m50 swap in the future?

An opionion in all ideas would be appreciated.
I ask you coz u r the E30 specialist.
