Both of my 325's run right at the 1/2 way point. Here in Texas the heat is over 100 and Austin stop and go traffic can be brutal. My 89 325is was going to about 3/4, so I flushed the radiator..no go. Then I replaced the timing belt. While at it, I replaced the water pump and the fan clutch... still no change...Finally I replaced the thermostat... Now it stays right about at the 1/2 way point like my 87 Eta. Apparently the thermostat wasn't opening fully.
