You can generally go about 215 without rubbing, 225 fit only on certain wheels or you will have to a little fender modification. I find the 205/50-16 is a perfect combo for the size of the E-30, any larger makes the car feel a little heavy footed.


Hey, guys, has anyone tried to go wider on 16" wheels than the Tire Rack recomended size 205/50-16? Any issues to consider such as excessive wear on the edges?
