Anyone replace there cracked up dash? (archive)

I am going to replace the cracked up dash on the 87 325e I have. I am looking for help and information from someone who has don it. The books are no help so I am asking for some!I can get started but I'm not sure how it is held in place and I don't want to screw anything up.
