seeing as gearing changes arent allowed in DSP and the 3.46 and 3.25 never came on an e30 325. However, you could use a 3.73 or 4.10(the i/is manual/auto). I dont think these would help much unless you really love shifting. I'd stick with what you've got since it already seems like it tops out too low. My 87 325is with 3.73's tops out at about 59mph and I frequently bounce off the revlimiter on long straights.
