If you turn a corner hard enough, it may cause the light to come on. Check the sensor wiring on the engine block, you may even want to replace the sensor.


what causes the overhead oil light to come on? it came on for me tonite driving home, I stopped and checked oil... it was ok... proceded home and shut car off... turned it back on and the light was out.

Any ideas?
