Unless you're going to pull and paint the engine and interior, I would stay with the same color. I just got mine painted for $3,000 at a shop that had it for 2 weeks and took all molding, hood, trunk, etc. off to paint it right. They used OEM Glasurit paint which is about $1,000 for the paint alone. I also looked at Maaco and they could do it for about $1,200 by masking it 1 day and painting it the next. I don't think that would hold up over time.

I'm about to get a 1987 325es, and i think i will repaint the whole car. Anybody have any suggestions on the color, and also how much would it be? thanks in advance.
