Whenever i take my 84 318i 50 miles or more on a trip, once you are in stop and go traffic, it idles really low and stalls out if you dont give it gas. I took it to the shop but they didn't know how to fix it. any suggestions?


I don't know what the problem is but my 1985 318i is giving me the same type of problem. It doesn't do it when the outside temp is a little cooler, but as soon as it gets hot outside it starts acting up. Please let me know by post or e-mail (Preferably e-mail) if you do figure out what the problem is. I would liek to get mine fixed but can't find the cause. Thx and good luck .
