Guys-
I am looking to upgrade my wheels. I am having a hard time deciding between size and weight. My '86 325e is a track only car (time trials, driving school, etc.) and a very occasional autocrosser.

Here's my quandry: I can't decide whether it would be better to go a larger 17" wheel (naturally heavier) or only go to a 15" super-light wheel, like a Volk TE37 (9.5 lbs each).

So, do I sacrifice weight for size or size for weight? I am thinking weight is more important, so stick with the smaller wheel, but would appreciate any insights. All I care about is lap times, not cosmetics or "look".

TIA...MATT
