thanks for everyone's suggestions-i'll do the battery voltage check w/ a voltmeter and double check my trunk light too to see if they're on w/ the trunk shut(i have a funny feeling this is the gremlin here).BTW:my battery is a sealed,maitenance free battery-i'll just replace it since it comes w/ a 2yr free replacement warranty(hey why not:^)....i'll post my findings-you guys are GREAT!!!!!! rob
