Lowering springs will cost you around $250. And because shorter springs must be used with stiffer shocks, then an extra $400 must be used for Bilstein shocks, or $500 for Konis.

Going to coil-overs is great for someone using the car on tracks because it allows fine tuning of spring height and rate. Drawbacks are an exposed shock stem (more dust on them, less protection) and usually way stiffer ride as you almost combine coil-overs to adjustable aluminum camber plates. But then again you can use K-MACs.

Peoples doing shows also use coil-overs because it allows them to lower their car A LOT.
