I searched the archives and came up with several alternative options for E30 motor mounts for a hard-driven 1986 325 track car:

1. TMS aluminum reinforcement cups
2. Korman upgrade
3. E12 528i mounts

Anyone have any recommendations? I haven't cut the lower rad hose yet but seem to be getting closer to it....

I did no. 3, buying the E12 mounts and cutting off the extra pin and they fit perfectly.
