My antenna extends only the first two lengths and then makes a ratcheting noise through the rest of the lift cycle but the last length remains retracted. Anyone know what I can do to fix this without replacing the antenna mechanizm?

Dude i had a similiar problem.What i did was pulled the unit apart and stretched out the antenna by hand.You might find that if its been retractred for a long period of time,it would be stuck in that position.Just spray alittle WD40 and pull it out then hook it up to a battery and test it.
