I have a klunk when I hit a bump in the left rear. I checked every bushing, every mount, 185K and all are good, the shock is new and it's mount -I tightened down the spare tire and the convertible trunk lid is tight, so what is still going klunk when I hit a bump back there? New springs, new muffler mount system. Is the axle carier mounted with rubber bushings and does it get sloppy? Thanks for any insight.
Had the same problem - started right after new muffler was installed. Boys at the shop didn't get all the hangars installed right. It was the muffler itself that was doing the banging!
