I have done a few of these, the bass response is fantastic and tight. I use a larger wheel/tire as a spare and build a round wooden box to press fit into the space under the wheel. It's just enough air space for an efficent 10" sub. Good luck. Chris

anyone do this yet? i'm thinking about it...inspired by the RSX design. I looked in my trunk, if I flip the spare upside down i can place a sub in there...just need to figure out how to make an enclosure...seems doable. thoughts anyone?
