Hello pplz.Anyone ever fit a vernier cam pulley on their 325is.Will it make a difference in performance. Also my 325is 2.7L has a 373 diff ratio. If i fit a 391 diff will it make a difference in performance. It has a hartge chip and branch bout 160 kw.When they tested the 325is here in south africa the evo 1 which has 145 kw and a 373 diff ratio ran to 100 km/h in 7.53 sec rev limiter set at 6200 and does 93 km/h in second gear so 100 km/h was reached in 3rd and ran 1 km in 28.47 sec at 186 km/h and top end 225 km/h.The evo 2 had 155 kw and a 391 diff and rev limit set at 6750 and done 100 km/h in 7.42 sec reached in 3rd gear 96 km/h in second gear and ran 1 km in 28 sec. This seems like a very small difference and i would to know if the car will actually perform better with the 391 diff. Also the evo 1 had a power to mass ratio of 126 and had aluminium fenders and bonnet and the evo 2 had a power to mass ratio of 115 and had steel fenders and bonnet. The same magazine tested the 330 which had a power to mass ratio of 113 lower than 325is to 100km/h in 6.7 sec but in second gear and 1 km at 26.99 sec at 199 km/h.I guess with an extended rev limit the 325is should be quicker.Anyways.Cya!
