How do I adjust the door to stop the warning chime (archive)

When I go over a bump or a hard turn the drivers door moves just enough to set of the chime telling me the door is open. Which part do I need to adjust to fix it? The door or the B pillar? Thanks in advance

'95 M3 (While i'm at it, this car has a door the makes noise too and needs to be adjusted)

'91 325iC (loose drivers door)
'00 Explorer (Hell, everything is loose and needs to be adjusted on this thing)
