OK, my 87' 325is OBC was functioning just fine since I've own the car (2 months now).....

Then one day the display faded to almost non visable... (I can barely see that it is still functioning)

Is this related to the SI batteries? If not, is there a fix?

Excuse me if this has been covered before..

WH

I have had my car 6 months and this has happened twice. Once it went away on its own and then it went dim a second time. I was pulling my radio to wire power for my CD changer and while I was unscrewing the radio hex screws I wiggled the metal tab of the radio and it went bright again. It seems to be either a grounding problem ot the wiring harness of the OBC is my guess.

Any one else figured this out
