so you can try the radio shack strip stranded wire and solder in and let bulbs hang out of socket and trap between the unit and slide bar and fail in a year or go buy the $25 dollar white slide in light bar pre-soldered pin bulbs for the OBC. bavarian autosport sells them 800-507-2002. The bigger deal is semi-removing the unit to get at the light bar. The light bar slides in from the glove box side - so if you peel back the fascia enough to get at three of the corner screws, top and gloveebox side, you can back the obc off the fascia just enough to thin plier pull the light bar out of it's slide and slide in the new one - watch out usually you crack the fascia at the emergency flasher frame and then that button hangs out forever more from the dash.
Backing off the fascia is a 20 minute operation. Four screws behind thin plastic heater control slides (stealth), then pull radio out still connected and beeping, pull out hang flasher, rear heater, switches and stuf up top and behind find two screws (remove fascia will lean forward, see screws in OBC and back some off (may say cut some plastic from the fasci to help remove the white slide light bar). Good luck.
