As far as goes my knowledge, insurances will cover you only if you are attending a training school. Time trial and lapping are not considered training. That is what restraints lotsa clubs when they want to do a lapping event. Drivers will not be insured in case of accident, you can see why a whole lot of drivers are reluctant to assist a lapping day. I believe that accidents are part of the game and are inevitable because of the higher level of speed.
