There is a shop on 7th and Division, in Portland, Oregon. It is called Pacific Motor Sports.

Due to the manner of which they treated my business, and the out come of the car after they "fixed" it, I am forced to advertise against this business.

I had a relay problem. I took them the car. They had it for 6 days, and finally figured out what was wrong. They charged me $45 for the relay. I called a friend at one of the local dealerships, and he quoted me $14 retail for the same relay.

It gets better. Then they charged me $500 for labor because the wires that connect to the relay were shorting the relay out. Now, a while later, after the $500 was paid, the previous $500 wire problem re-occured and shorted the same relay out. So now I am back in the same boat as before.

They didn't even fix the problem. So I basicaly paid for a $545 relay that burt out in 3 months. For this reason, I am marketing against their business. I am not seeking revenge. (well maybe a little) I am just protecting my fellow BMW fans from the same situation. I hope you all have good motoring, and use other shops when getting a problem fixed.
