What are optimum shift points for a stock M3? Redline in each gear? Is it the same for all years?
What about chipped - give specific examples if possible. Maybe in some gears all of the extra revs don't really help accel but allow you to hold a gear for a turn or to hit 60 mph without a shift to third. Has anyone done this scientifically using dyno and gear charts and/or actual measurements? Thanks!!
