: : : : i was at a web page viewing some e30 m3s. i came across a car with a hartge mono wiper. does anybody know where to get one? price?
: : : Have a little class, it's a German finely tuned ///M car... Not a shotty "Wanna BE" Euro Looking Loud Exhaust Sounding Accord w/ side markers...
: : : PS. Let the flames begin
: : You idiot, AC Schnitzer, Hartge, Alpina, etc. all make mono wiper conversion kits for BMW's to save weight on their cars.
: Listen ReelIzIm(Semi-)Pro. You guys have some serious time on your hands to worry about how much the damn wiper assembly weighs.... I don't care if it's Rally, Auto-X or SCCA! Perhaps invest that EXTRA $$ in some other "Performance" part- i.e. toward an exhaust, control arm bushings or hell, a new set of floor mats... Take your damn girlfriend out for a nice dinner.... You must be pretty well far up the accessory list to have all the other upgrades to be worrying about weight on the wiper assembly "for the mono look". I could care less who sells them- Hartge, etc. It just seems that all the Rice Cars are more "prone" to that look. Then again what ever-
Why are you mad at me?? I didn't invent the mono wiper kit. Call CEC and ask them about the kit. The kit was designed by AC Schnitzer, Hartge, Alpina, etc. etc. etc. Why? "to save weight"...those are their words, not mine. Race cars use this setup, since they want to save as much weight as possible. I suggest you do your homework before getting personal with someone you don't know. BTW, Rice rockets just remove one of the wiper arms and adjust the other to the center to give the "look" of the mono-wiper kit. Why are you concerned about them anyway? I'm not.
