About the supercharged vs. atmospheric engine, even with an increase to 2.5L it's going to be hard to atain that kind of power in a atmo engine
whithout expending big bucks on it. Remember that early DTM M3 2.5 had more than 290 HP but BMW Motorsport had a huge budget.
If you want that kinda power Supercharging is the way.
If you want some more power and keep it almost original (it would then qualify as an EVO engine) then go for the 2.5 conversion.
