: Hey guys, my uncle is ditching his VW's and thinking about getting a BMW E30. I told him to get the M3 and I'm helping him out in getting one. I just have a couple of questions for you all. My uncle is a tennis instructor so will he have enough trunk and rear passenger room for equipment and what other mechanical or electrical problems that he should be aware of? We're looking within the Los Angeles area.
: Thank you
The M3 has the same amount of rear seat room as any other 2 door E30. The trunk is large enough to take everything 2 people need for a weekend CCA driving school (tools, spares, cooler, etc) so it should be able to a hold a couple of tennis rackets. Because of the sloping rear window, the opening is smaller, but the spare tire still goes in and out easy enough. M3s share the same electrical problems as all E30s. Have the car checked out by a BMW specialist before you buy. Repairs can be expensive.
