The stroke on the 2.6L is 92mm. Price difference is huge. A 2.6L Dinan stroker is over $12,000 plus a $5,000 core charge, the stage I version is less, but I'm not sure how much, I have the stage II. The 2.6L from Dinan has Titanium rods and a billet crank, forged pistons w/ 10.2:1 comp. If you run 12 or 13:1 compression you better plan to run the car on racing fuel otherwise you'll have melted pistons.

: Just wanna know the difference between the 2.5 and 2.6 motor??? what about price difference?
: if i am not mistaken, the compression on the 2.5 is 11.2:1 acording to turner...can i increase the compression to 12 or maybe 13
: thanks
