: no offense, but $11,000 for a car with over 150,000 miles???
None taken. "Retail Value" (defined by cars.com and vip.intellichoice.com pricing system as the vehicle's worth to someone who doesn't plan to immediately resell it, a buyer who plans on driving the car or having one of his or her family members drive it) for a bone stock '88 M3 is $10,750. With this mileage there is a negative adjustment of $1,500 (net: $9,250). This car is NOT BONE STOCK (as you can see from the website) and is priced to reflect that, the engine is strong (have compression test results to prove it), and all maintenance issues have been addressed. I believe it's fairly priced but, of course, will listen to all reasonable offers.
