: : : : My car is making the rattling sound from the chain/tensioner, I talked to a mechanic who only works on BMW's. He told me that the chain was fine and that I only needed a tensioner. Do you guys/gals think it would be o.k. to do only that part.
: : : : thanks

: : : If your car has done over a 100k I would do both. If you choose to do just the tensioner make sure you check the chain with a telescope! because if it breaks well..... I don't think the chain itself is that dear, I could be wrong though.

: : I couldn't agree more (Wise words Stevie), by the way have you forgiven me yet??

: Of course I've forgiven you, you b*****d! only kidding DB.
