: You don't need to dissamble the dash to take out the radio......if your front speakers are not working your amp might be fried. This happened to mine. I got an aftermarket cd player and rewired each speaker to the radio. If you are going to buy a stock unit and someone with a nearby thread wants to sell you one, hint, don't pay more than $50. That's what I sold mine for.....
YES RITTER YOU SOLD YOURS FOR $50.00 AND I WAS THE UNLUCKY GUY THAT BOUGHT IT (MIKE REMEMBER UPS SECOND DAY DELIVERY) UNFORTUNELLY THE VOLUME BUTTON DID NOT WORK PROPERLY AND I HAD TO SPEND ANOTHER $40.00 FIXING IT.
I UNDERSTAND $50.00 IT IS NOT ALOT OF MONEY IF YOU ARE HONEST AND TELL THE BUYER THAT THE UNIT ITS NOT WORKING 100%, FOR A UNIT THAT WORKS 100% I WOULD PAY $100.00 AND STILL A THEM GOOD PRICE.
000PS MIKE 88 325I(WITH A GOOD WORKING UNIT AFTER TAKEN UP THE A-- WITHOUT VASELINE) STILL CAN'T SIT DOWN, IT HURT WITHOUT ELBOW GREASE OR VASELINE.
