My brother-in-law did the M3 to '02 swap a while ago. It is not a bolt on kind of deal. You will need to do some fabrication work and the fit is very tight. From what I have heard, a 6 cyl is even worse.

BTW: the time, money and tears are worth it.

: Hi all;
: I am looking for a used M3 engine for my '02, preferably one in Canada. Am I dreaming? Should I just swap in an i6?

: Replies are good!
