I put a set of A520's on my 88 M3 in fall. I only have about 2000 miles and one driving school on them (car was stored for winter). So far they seem pretty decent. I had Toyo Proxes T1's on before. The 520's don't seem to have as much grip as the T1's in hard braking. Actually the grip may be there but they seem to squirm around more than I remember the T1's doing. Of course I'm comparing the 520's at full tread to the T1's which were at half or so when I got the car. I wanted T1's again but they're hard to get and cost a lot. The 520's were $112 from the tire rack in my size 225/45-16. I also believe Yoko's ads about the super stiff sidewall. The guys I had mount the tires said they were about the hardest damn tires to get on the rim that they have encountered, whatever that's worth. Hope this helps.
