: : Has anyone ever had to replace the bushing in the driveshaft located between the transmission output shaft and the driveshaft? Does it require special tools? Mine is seriously cracked, does it mean the car has been abused? TIA!

: No special tools required just 2 box wrenches (17mm?). They crack over time or from abuse.

Is there any special procedure? Do I just remove the bolts, slide out the piece and insert a new piece? Someone else suggested that the driveshaft and exhaust need to be removed due to a flange.
