Bimmer magazine did an article on "almost Ms". These were short lived production cars that had everything but Motorsport engines- such as the 96 540i Sport and 325 M-Technic. I can't remember the date of the issue but the car you are refering to is in there. For people who haven't seen one, the E30 model looks just like the M3 without the fender flares and orgasm inducing engine. If you are talking about the E36 325 M-Technic that car was made for only one year. It turned out that when people got finished paying for the M look-alike they spent more than what would cost to buy real the M3. It was a pretty nice car however as it had the cloth sport seats, BMW Motorsport on the door handles and the full M3 aerodynamics. No matter which one you are looking for just look for the same things you would when buying any BMW- service records, body condition, mileage, etc.

: Hi Im going to buy a M325i,
: Please tell me what i should look out for,
: Do they have a tendancy to any particular faults?
