: Actually I had a very surprising experience with my 89 M3 at the strip. I have an Evo air box and a TMS chip and rana best of 14.45 at 95 mph. I was very surprised by my time and I know alot of poeple are gonna say that I'm lying but I'll get the time slip scanned if it comes down to it. My friend ran a 15.0 in his 90 with Borla exhuast with 156k miles on it. Another guy I know has a 2.5 with cams and ported and polished head and he can beat C5 Corvettes (especially on the track!!) and can prob turn high 12s on drag slicks. Also if you go make sure you bring a bag of ice and set it on top of the intake manifold (where it says M POWER ) when your in the staging lanes. I dumped my clutch at 2700 with 25 psi in the tires and got no wheel spin and shifted at 7500 as fast as my arm could pull the shifter back. As for integras....I lined up next to a true Type R and ran my best time ever (14.45) to his 15.7!!!!

: p.s. this car is not meant for or geared for drag racing...don't get mad if you run bad times

I going back up to the 1/4 mile meeting in two weeks and I'm going to give it a blast and see how I fair. As for the ice, I take it this is to cool the intake air.........I won't need it....I live in Scotland!!!
Stevie.
