: : Steve and others why not find a good used 3.0 or 3.2 they're out there for 5 to 6k and should fit easily enough. much better solution than forced induction. i would be interested in hearing from anyone with a m-50 powered e-30

: going to the six takes the car out of balance, probably it's best feature. why not go with a korman, turner, Dinan, kit to make it into a 2.5, or 2.6 stroker motor. ask Crazytrain how fast his is. 0-60 in 4.8 seconds, that fast enough for you?

i have an E30 ,90 M30 w/ a M50 25B engine in it an the car handle just fine. im always hearing that w/ the M50 it will throw the weight off in the car well it just dosent. by the time you put the M50 engine in (and you would have to have a car w/ this swap done to know) it sits almost right on the firewall. which actually is farther back than the S14. besides the M50 engine is alot more reliable of an engine than the money hungry S14 if you plan on doing any daily driving
