Age, regardless of mileage, takes its toll on rubber and plastic. There are a lot of hoses, bushings, belts, seals, gaskets, etc. on a car. Multiply by the usual M3 price factor (M3 = x3).
Add the high temperature under the
M3's hood and high mileage, and that's why these cars seem to be so expensive to maintain.
