I don't know what fantasy world you are living in but if you think you can pass an E30 M3 in a stock 325IS you must not know how to drive very well. Don't get me wrong, the 325 IS is a great car, but its not in the same league as the M3. As for being a slow car that is just a ridiculous statement. Zero to sixty time under seven seconds is not lightning quick, but its no slouch either. I believe the 325IS could make the run in a tick over 8 seconds. Now based on that information I don't see how you can make a stock 325IS pass a M3 on the street. Furthermore the E30 M3 may have been designed to hold the small six, but the car is far more balanced with a high strung four. I have driven an E30 M3 with a 95 M3 engine and even though it had more power- it wasn't a TRUE E30 M3. Anyway thats my .02
