:Adam how are your ignition wires? It can be a real bitch if you have a short because the silicone coating has worn down to the copper. I had a similar problem and it turned out that my wires were cut but it happened inside the (plastic) loom, you might have to take it apart and examine each wire.

The only other thing I can think of is mabey you have a vacume leak. Check the elbow fitting that runs from the brake booster to the air horns (intake) these come loose sometimes. I had to wrap mine in Teflon tape to make it stay in place. I know the feeling when your car is screwed up and it sucks, check all of the simple things it'll plobably turn out to be something small. Good luck.

my car died today, the motor went dead at 5500 rpm and the motor just kept turning over but it would not start.. hte car sat in the middle of hte road for along time.. the motor finally started and i dorve off just for it to happen again.. half an hour later.. it started again and well i did not pass the 3000 rpm and it ran fine all of hte way home.. but for a while the car would not even turn over it just made no noise when i turned the key.. so i asume the started might be going out?? but why would the car just die.. it felt like i ran out of gass..please help me if ya can..
