The E30 m3, in my opinion, wouldn't make a good 'first car' for someone unless they were huge BMW motorsport fanatics and nothing else would do. The level of care and feeding with these very special cars is high, as is the cost of ownership, purchase price aside. I love my car but would not recommend it to everyone. How 'bout getting her an E36 325is for around the same price. Good luck!
