...you can get it from the dealer, and it's really not that expensive because it's not an 'M3 only' item. You'll need to buy the mounting clips as well because they all get bent or broken when you pull off the old trim. They're about 20 cents apiece.

...all E30 M3's came with black trim, not chrome.
