I recently picked up a 1989 325ic and I am interested in doing some suspension modifications.

I want a more responsive sports car feel but I don't want a harsh ride. Right now the car rides a little high for my taste and corners a bit mushy.

I would like to lower the car about 1.25" to 1.5". I was thinking about going with Eibach springs with Bilstein Sports.

My questions are:

Is anyone running this setup?
What setup do you suggest and why?
Should I go with an adjustable shock like Koni?
Should I go with a spring like the H&R OEM/Sport or the Bavauto springs? (less agressive)

Thanks for your input.
