I am considering the purchase of a mid to high mileage 1988 M3 and had a few questions regarding the car's ability to be driven in the winter. I would of course mount performance snow/ice tires, but I wonder if this would be adequate to support my daily transportaitonal needs. I have a 2000 M Roadster, but that is strictly my weekend toy. I've got a 26 mile highway commute to the office (1 way) and would really like to get the M3, but question its'driveability in winter conditions. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!!! P.S. This will be a great summer driver's school track car also!
