BBS makes a rim for the E30 M3. I belive the offset is 22mm. Any E36 (43mm offset) rim will also fit with 20mm spacers. As for rubbing, 235/40/17 on the 8in wide BBS should not be a problem especially with upgraded suspension.

: I've been talking with several people running 17x8 wheels on their M3s and they all seem to be rubbing with their fenders in tight turns or when going over large bumps. I am getting very close to getting my E30 M3, and as soon as I do I wanted to put BBS RX 17x8's all around. I know I will need spacers to use these wheels on my M3, but what size of spacers and tires should I use to eliminate rubbing? Most of the people i've been talking with are using 225/45/17 tires, but what if i used 215/45/17 tires? Are there different versions of the BBS RX for the different cars, or is there one wheel that can fit on all BMW's with the use of spacers? I've never switched out wheels on any of my cars before, so I'm kind of new to this. I plan on using the stock suspension for a while, but would like to switch over to Eibach/Bilsteins in the future. Thanks!
