Man... don't I wish I would have know that about the intake gaskets... i bought my car about 3wks ago... and already blew one of the cylinders. So I'm running with about 40% compression loss in the number two cylinder... at least till my new 2.5L arrives...

Good advice CFL... wish I woulda seen this post two weeks ago.

: : I just got an M3 today and the idle is definately a little rough, and sometimes it feels pretty bad. What could be possible problems causing this that I could fix? Any help you might have would be appreciated. Thanks

: A few things to check or replace, the idle control valve (ICV), the throttle position sensor (TPS), and last but not least your intake gaskets may be leaking, the E30 M3 is famous for it and if you don't fix it right away you might not have a motor to enjoy for long. Leaking gaskets equal lean condition.

: Right Porridgeman?
