In the spirit of winning, of course, I'm looking for the optimal solution for an autox wheel/tire combo.

I have 15x7 et30, 16x7 et17 and 17x7.5 et43 + 5mm spacer, but I think I'll have to buy another wheel set to meet my needs. I want to run a 17x8.5 or wider with 245/40 Hoosier A3S03's (or some other autox compound), has anyone done this?

Note: racing tires are 10-15mm wider than street tires of the same size. (i.e., 225/45/16x7 Hoosier R3SO3 are 13mm wider than 235/40/17x7.5 Pilot SX)
