: : : : : How many use their E30M3 as a daily driver?

: : : : I use my Evo11 everyday and she runs perfectly. I have put 8k on her in the last 6 months. I've just returned from a 700 mile round trip in England ( where it pissed with rain, great holiday for a tent! not!) and she ran fantasic especially up the A68,a road from Newcastle to Hawick ,where I took the mickey out of a brand new 323i Coupe`.

: : : hey did you happen to stop at the "Forge"restaurant in Hawick (greek food). i stopped there on my holiday last summer on my way from newcastle to edinburgh . anyway the woman that runs the restaurant is the most beautiful woman i've ever seen(married to a greek fellow or i would have proposed on the spot) ,and the one running the farm B&B down the road aint bad either .i thought i'd died and gone to heaven when i stopped in Hawick for the night.
: : : i wish i'd had my M3 there

: : Angus but I've never eaten there! and I think my wife may disaprove of me going in for a meal if the owner is that beautiful!! I have friends in Hawick who own a really old converted school which is absolutely beautiful so the next time you head for Hawick let me know and I'll will get my friend to crack open some lethal homebrew!!!!! The A68 is one of my favourite roads it has the mix who good quality roads and some cracking sweeping bends which suit the m3 down to a T. Anyway what brought you over to Scotland/England and when are you heading back? I could show you a really nice Evo11!!!
: : Stevie.

: Stevie, well i'm back back in the States now (was there for three weeks visiting friends& relative's and went to Manx races).visiting my place of birth for the first time in Glasgow ,drove 3100 miles in a rental Renault Megane'. would love to see youre EVO2 if i make it back over there anytime soon mine is a stock 88 that will soon be getting a transplant to a stroker 2.5.i do wish i had my M3 on that road to Hawick but would have scared the hell out of my passengers, scared them bad enough in the Megane'.best roads i've ever driven in Scotland and Wales havent had so much fun since i got my motorcycle.feel free to e mail me "[email protected]"

: PS :just stop and ask if that lady is still married for me will ya ,it'll give you an excuse to stop and see her!

There's not many Scotsmen driving M3's you're one of the priviliged few!! I passed through Glasgow today on the way back from my camping trip. My wife often goes shoping there ( bangs goes my 2.5 litre conversion!) You poor bastard 3100 miles in a Renault Megane EH!!! I can sympathize with you as I drove a Nissan Pulsar 2500 miles through Australia recently boy was that shit when you've got an M3 at home! I'll sent you some pics of my Evo 11 when I'm back at work ( they're stored on my work pc) which is tommorrow. I recently spent a weekend in Wales watching Scotland V Wales at the rugby and it was one of the best weekends of my life thanks to a kilt......seriously!!! They also have some of the best roads in Britain. Where about in the States are you from? My wife has a sister in Ocala FL. We also have friends in Atlanta Georgia ( too busy for me, I got lost there for 4 hours in rush hour traffic!)
