: So I took my 91' M3 into the shop to get an oil leak checked out and I'm suddenly $1400CA lighter in the wallet.

: All my seals are going at the same time. OUCHHHH!

: The rotor is burnt and is going to be replaced and the cap needs replacing as well. NOW THEN... if I get the OEM cap it's going to be $350CA for the part alone, any suggestions on a cheaper source for a decent part?

: Lvis (still love my) '91 M3

are you using synthetic motor oil? excessive oil leaking at all engine seals can be caused by synthetic oil use, especially high mileage motors.you might try switching back to regular oil and see if leaking stops.also make sure the engine breather hose's aren't plugged or pinched shut causing excessive blowby pressure in crankcase leaving it no where to go but out the engine seals!
