What do yo guys do for a living? MPG? (archive)

I'm currently a 2002 owner who is thinking about getting an M3. I've driven 2 so far (a stocker and one slightly modified) and was impressed by both. I've heard M3's can be real money pits (I heard the same about 2002s and it's mostly true, but the '02 has been more fun than I imagined, skinny tires and all). What do you guys do to support your habit and what kind of fuel economy are you getting? I just hope I'm not out of my league here, financially. I'll be getting about $14.50/hr at a new job and I have no dependents. Thanks in advance.
